OUR STORY
Watercolor Insights was born from a deep passion for nurturing growth in early childhood education. With extensive experience, I have developed a profound understanding of the intricate connections that foster growth in early childhood professionals, programs, and organizations—connections as fluid and interconnected as the paint strokes in watercolor. Just as every element blends seamlessly into a masterpiece, every aspect of early childhood education is intertwined, driving the success and growth of professionals, programs, and organizations.
This understanding led me to choose the name Watercolor Insights. In watercolor art, each paint stroke influences the next, just as in early childhood education, every interaction, decision, and practice shapes the development and effectiveness of professionals, programs, and organizations. At Watercolor Insights, we bring this understanding to life through relationship-focused, strengths-based consultation, coaching, and training. We are dedicated to advancing equity, creativity, and dynamic innovation in every aspect of our work, ensuring that the future of early childhood education is as bright and vibrant as a watercolor masterpiece.
Driven by a deep commitment to early childhood, I founded Watercolor Insights to address the evolving needs of professionals, programs, and organizations. My journey has been shaped by both the challenges and triumphs encountered throughout my career, providing me with unique insights into the complexities and nuances of this profession. Understanding that every professional, program, and organization faces its own set of challenges, my approach is tailored to meet these needs through personalized and strategic support. By focusing on relationship-building and strengths-based methodologies, I strive to create impactful transformations that foster growth and success. My core values of altruism, connection, growth, justice, and support guide every aspect of my work, ensuring that my clients receive the highest level of service and dedication.
MEET CAMERON Fall
Founder
I’m Cameron, the founder of Watercolor Insights, where I am dedicated to fostering growth and driving innovation in early childhood education. Originally from eastern Iowa, I’ve called Colorado home since 2014 and have dedicated over seven years to advancing early childhood education in this vibrant and incredibly diverse state. My journey began at Warren Village in 2017, where I worked with unhoused and unstably housed low-income families while supporting teachers, administrators, and staff as the Learning Center Administrative Assistant. This role ignited my passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
Building on this foundation, I joined the Early Childhood Council Leadership Alliance (ECCLA) in 2021, where I currently manage a statewide scholarship program for Colorado’s prospective early childhood coaches while facilitating the incredible work of the Colorado Coaching Consortium. I previously managed scholarship programs funded by Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). My role with ECCLA honed my skills in program and grant management, group facilitation, strategic planning, and advocacy for justice, equity, and belonging, while also providing me with valuable knowledge and experience of the various systems within Colorado’s early childhood profession. As the Chair of ECCLA’s Justice, Equity, and Belonging Collaborative, I also lead our shared efforts to ensure equity and dismantle systemic barriers within our early childhood system. Additionally, as the Board Treasurer and Chair of the Governance Committee for the Colorado Association for the Education of Young Children (COAEYC), I contribute to organizational oversight and governance, ensuring financial health and strategic alignment with our mission.
These experiences continue to enrich my ability to provide tailored services through Watercolor Insights. I leverage my extensive expertise in governance, coaching, professional development, program administration, and creative services, to provide comprehensive consultation, coaching, and training. My commitment to equity and innovation helps support early childhood professionals, programs, and organizations in achieving their diverse goals. My educational background includes an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from the Community College of Aurora and a Bachelor’s degree in Education & Human Development from the University of Colorado Denver, complemented by a range of credentials and endorsements.
At Watercolor Insights, I translate my wealth of experience into relationship-focused, strengths-based consultation, coaching, and training for early childhood professionals, programs, and organizations. I am dedicated to advancing creativity, equity, and dynamic innovation in every aspect of my work, ensuring that the future of early childhood education is as vibrant and transformative as a watercolor masterpiece. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am inspired by nature, art, and the vibrant LGBTQ+ community which fuels my creativity and passion for this profession. I am here to support and empower you, combining my expertise with a warm, engaging approach to make a lasting impact.
